Hello my lovely guys and girls. Before I get on with saying what I’ve got to say, I’ve realised that I don’t really say to you all just how much it means to me to be receiving such wonderful feedback and comments now that I’m fully back into my blogging. I was worried for so long that I’d just be receiving negative shiz, and I’ve been super lucky with how supportive you’ve all been to me. So yes, I thank you for all of that.
Right, now all of that smushy stuff is out of the way (I do apologise), it’s time I tell you some exciting news. I’ve touched upon it in a coupe of my past blog posts, but I thought it was worthy of its own little feature on here.
As of this upcoming Saturday, I am working with Airbnb and their experiences programme to supply London Coffeehouse History tours around the City of London. As much as this really isn’t meant to be a marketing plug through this, I really wanted to take the time to say that any of you reading this are welcome to join (in fact, I would absolutely love it)! For a limited time only, my experience is at an insane price of £15, which includes your very own complimentary coffee from a speciality coffeehouse in the area before you leave - so it’s a very good deal!
It’s honestly a dream come true to be able to be doing something like this, and being paid for it. I took a degree in History, and was persistently told from society that I would amount to nothing because of my poor educational choices. So yeah, suck ‘em. (apologies, but I just had to and there was no better language to use there.)
Not only that, but I’m living the dream and heading up marketing in the coffee industry, and I’m not joking when I say it’s partly down to this blog and my ‘influencer’ status that has really made the dream come alive. So again, thank you to each and every one of you, no matter how long you have been a part of this journey with me, because you’re all helping me achieve things I never thought I’d be able to do otherwise.
Heck, I’m super nervous for this weekend but will keep you all posted as to how it goes (check me out on my social media pages for that as I probably won’t be writing another blog post on it).
In the meantime, have a wonderful evening my lovelies. x
